In a success scenario, 12x12 will help launch 12 new companies – companies which might otherwise been located outside of Massachusetts. Each company will raise millions in funding after first-round financing, and many of these companies are likely to go on to raise significantly more in capital. It is estimated that by the time 12 new companies are formed, they will be on their way to introducing close to one hundred new jobs into the economy.

Beyond these measurable outcomes, 12x12 is a forum for a dialogue between representatives of all parts of the entrepreneurial ecosystem – established CEOs and VCs, both first-time and serial entrepreneurs, and the companies, organizations, and government who support this community.

Most importantly, 12 CEOs and 12 VCs will be engaged with 12 entrepreneurs on a new path to success - hopefully to do it all over again.  This unique, novel collaboration is the multiplying effect of 12x12.
